About

I am a freelance visual artist and work mainly in mixed media and watercolour.  My background is in media, working on live radio programmes but I evolved into providing art projects for schools, introducing children to materials and techniques that they would not normally have access to.  The projects provide an exciting and creative outlet as well as giving the students’ teachers some extra professional development.  After a rewarding 20 years I have now retired to concentrate on my own creative art.  I love all kinds of art and craft from ceramics and stone carving to papercraft and card making with painting and drawing somewhere in between.

I regularly sell and exhibit my own work and have recently been concentrating on my ceramics designs.  One of my porcelain slip cast pots has recently seen at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in their ‘Inspired by…’ exhibition.Porcelain-cut-out-slip-cast-large-vessel-by-Jennie-Grover
